The view from the chateau in Arboras

When I came home from my journey in 1977, my home was in France. Things were complicated. My own house was beautiful, but bare and primitive. I needed company, and I found it with friends who had bought a small chateau nearby in Arboras.
Bill and Bouton Garrad were both painters. They understood my needs. I wrote a good deal of Jupiter's Travels under their roof.
Now the house that was once mine is sold. Bill, sadly, died some while ago, but thank goodness Bouton is still there and glad to see me. So that's where I went, to catch up on work, and to soak myself in memories.
